For the past 25 years, AmCham China"s Business Climate Survey has served as one of the key barometers of the sentiment of the American business community in China.

How did the 2022 performance of foreign companies in China fare in light of the COVID-19 prevention measures and mounting pressures from bilateral relations uncertainties and geopolitical tensions?

What actions do our members hope to see both the US and Chinese governments take to ensure a more stable and sustainable US-China economic relationship going forward?

The 2023 report represents diverse views from 20+ sectors, citing data from roughly half of our member companies and covering a wide variety of topics including investment trends and outlooks, regulatory developments, intellectual property, and the bilateral relationship. The report continues to monitor the COVID-19 business impact and captures timely sentiments around US businesses "Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G)" strategies in China.

This event will be moderated byJeffrey Bernstein, Co-Chair of AmCham China Healthcare Committee with briefings given byAmCham China President Michael Hart.
